2010 VKMLA Box Lacrosse Registration

Registration for the 2010 Box Season is now OPEN. For information on box lacrosse for the 2010 season please contact the Registrar (registrar@vancouverlacrosse.com) or the President (president@vancouverlacrosse.com. Please note that all minor players, males and females, living in Vancouver must register with VMLA. Any requests for release to another association must follow the VMLA Release Procedure.

You will need:

1. Player's BC Medical Card,

2. VISA, MASTERCARD or DISCOVERY credit card
Within two weeks of online registration, the Registrar must receive:

1. the following completed form: 2010 Box Lacrosse Registration Form

2. $100 cheque (for jersey deposit) post-dated to June 30, 2010
payable to VKMLA,

If these items are not received by the Registrar within two weeks, player registration may be cancelled.

2010 Box Registration Fees

Note: Early-Bird Registration: Any player registering before midnight January 31st, 2010 will receive a FREE pair of VKMLA shorts (with logo, a $30 value).

Division Birth Year Fee

Mini-Tyke (2004 - 2005): $140 + purchase of shorts ($30)
Tyke (2002 - 2003): $190 + purchase of shorts ($30)
Novice (2000 - 2001): $205 + purchase of shorts ($30)
PeeWee (1998 - 1999): $230 + purchase of shorts ($30)
Bantam (1996 - 1997): $235 + purchase of shorts ($30)
Midget (1994 - 1995): $235 + purchase of shorts ($30)

Purchase of Association Shorts is mandatory (unless previously purchased). Players registering on or after February 1, 2010 will have the opportunity to purchase Association shorts ($30).

Missed Early Bird Registration?

The deadline for Open Registration is Friday, April 9th, 2010 @ midnight.

Notes about online registration: The recommended browser for Mac users is Mozilla Firefox. Credit card payments will appear as "ThrivaVancouverMinorLacrosse" on your monthly statement. Any questions regarding online registration should be directed to the VKMLA Registrar.

Refund Policy for Box Lacrosse
Prior to March 15: full refund less $25.00
March 15: April 30: 50% refund
Beyond April 30: no refund

All refund requests must be directed to the VKMLA Registrar

Additional Registration Information

2009 VKMLA Field Lacrosse Registration

VKMLA will not be running a field lacrosse program in 2009. VKMLA players interested in field lacrosse should contact neighbouring associations to register: Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, or Richmond. Teams are formed in August or earlier so do not delay. A copy of the BLCA Youth Field Lacrosse Registration form is available HERE or at Abbies Sporting Goods (East 33rd Ave and Main Street).

Please note that VKMLA players do not require a release this year to play field lacrosse in another association.

Richmond Field Lacrosse is hosting two free events for girls and youth (boys and girls) field lacrosse. July 25th (girls) and July 26th (youth) at Minoru Artifical Turf. Please contact Paul Sahota for details.
